Happy New Year

Skype was super great. It was cool we could do it with Teresa too.
I showed what Em had said about the Elder form Arizona to him. He laughed and says hi.
Oh Emalie you're so funny. Gma may think your dumb, but i think you're funny.
I am so surprised at how tall Collin is.

The area is alright. It went kind of weird because of the week.
The hardest thing is getting investigators to church, and to have members with us to teach. They are willing but it is the setting up the time that is hard.
Our top investigators are Hugo,  Alexis (he is super great),  Carlos Sandaval, and Juan (has baptism date). We're going to be contacting more this week.  And we're working with a less active Lorenzo Friz. There is a lot hope for him. We put the goal with him to read the book of Mormon before the end of the Year.

Some advice to future missionaries would be to gain a true and lasting testimony, that gives them reason to be converted, and that they leave to the mission because of their testimony and desire to please God.   I love Argentina. and I love the people. I really don't know how to describe the area.  The biggest lesson, I learned to be more patient, and ever hopeful, no matter the situation, the power of gratitude, and to depend more in my Heavenly Father.  You can tell the girls that my hairline in falling back. I think like that. haha.

Love, Elder Bransen Jensen

ps. The quote "guess what it's not my birthday" I cant tell who it is from. it might be mine. Your quote is´´ is just because I am green isn't". good luck

He is the Gift event in centro

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

Sounds like you will have fun with all the family there.  Sounds like big events are coming up for you.

Say hi to Wyatt for me.  Give me his Email. por favor.

Quick Resume of my week:
Mon - Pday. normal. nothing fun. but good visits after wards.
Tue - we found a new investigators, Josè.
Wed. - district sunami and went to visit investigator and we taught the teenagers, her nephew and niece. We shared the restoration. It was cool that they payed attention and understood and committed to pray about the messages- pray for them.
Thur -  I don't remember much. normal day. some visits.
Fri -. normal day with the ward activity. masa de dulces. yumm. that was good with a lot a less actives.
Sat - we took over centro with He is the Gift. Check the blog for the photos of the event.  We played the movie on a screen and we went around inviting everyone to come and see. It was a cool experience.  I felt like I was in mormon message, talking to people about the meaning of Christmas. The whole zone was there and the president and some people from the stake.  If you have not seen HE IS THE GIFT. watch it and share it with everyone. Sorry I forgot to invite you before.
Sun - church. and  we had choir.  We were in it. That was cool.

So the week went pretty well.  A little rough with the investigators with trying to visit them.  Please keep praying for Hugo.  He has a hard time with the idea of tithing.  Pray for Jaun y Norma to get married, and for Carlos and Patricia that they may be completely prepared for the Fullness of the Gospel.

Thanks for everything. Que les siga  bien.

Les amo Y Dios Les ama mucho mas.

God does work miracles

I'll give you a story of what happened to me yesterday. We did a tsunami with some members. We had a youth with us. (shorten story) We went to a house of a old lady we know. She had health problems. She was out of the normal and breathing heavily. I felt to the need or the urge to give her a blessing of health. My comp anointed and I gave the blessing. I felt to bless her with health, more life, and that the pain would be gone...etc.. I don't really remember what I said..  We finished and she stopped breathing hard. and she did not hurt. She said that she has faith. That is why she is better.  That experience helped grow my faith to see a blessing respond to so quickly.   God does work miracles. We have the honor to be His workers.

skype will be great.
love you.

Crazy week

My comp´s name is Elder Gallegos, from Colombia, la capital. He has a year and a half in the mission. He is a chill dude.

Sometimes we have intense lessons. This week was kinda crazy. We have a hard time explaining the authority or the apostasy. I don't know how it happened but we invited 2 of our investigators in a visit and it turned bad. I think they misunderstood. But we were calmly explaining. I had an opportunity to use their bathroom, and I prayed because I did not what to loose them, This man had opened his heart a lot to let us in the first time.  I know there is a reason and a miracle for why we were teaching them.  I left the bathroom with more of the Spirit and a smile.  I knew God would do the rest. I then said maybe we misunderstood each other badly.  I testified. that we believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the son, the Holy Ghost.... amen.. We also believe that God calls prophets and that the church of Jesus Christ is restored, and God speaks to a Prophet today.  Then things calmed down and it turned out well.  I am grateful for the Lords help in this.

Thanks for fasting for them, I feel more confident in it. The Jewish Family are just hard to find. This week we're going to try to put a baptism date and invite them. Pray that they may accept or at least that it will make them think, and that we may do it clearly and boldly in a loving way.  I'm quite sure it will go well.  I love them a lot.

It seems that Alexis is the closest to progress. He said he can imagine being Mormon.  He is a super honest man and would be a great leader, and his wife has started to listen to us now, and accepted a Book of Mormon. Carlos, the Jew and his wife did as well.

I love the mission. It has a hard mix in with everything. And the Lord is there to help you, and changes you on the way.

congrats on your wedding anniversary. whoo hoo!!

I like your story of the man in the cannery. That's really great.  I am going to keep that in mind.

Well it sound that your busy busy. But don't get too stressed where you can't feel the Spirit. Then you'll get more stress and then you just blowup and nothing will get done. I know it has happened to me here.

Have you watched   ``he is the gift`` if not you should.

Thanks for all your support and love and....everything.

love Elder Bransen Jensen.

your quote  is from Collin. your is ``I got a john deer letter``

The ups and downs

P-day Bowling

Bueno. Today is transfers. My mini missionary went to his house. My comp doesn't get here until 11 at night.  I don't remember his name, but he is form Colamia.  Today at the terminal I saw a lot a missionaries that I have known, and the family of Elder Slavens is here. He is a very good Elder that I know. It was weird. They spotted us and spoke to us in English. .

Thanks for your concerns. I have had the ups and downs. I love your poem and I do relate. It is funny and true.  I don't know if I told you that one day in San Martin it was raining, we were in a nice neighborhood and no one wanted to talk to us or answer to us, and we walked and sat at a bus stop. I then thought "Why i am I so happy? despite everything that was happening.

Sorry I'm not going to write a lot. I am tired, spacing out while.. but happy.

I hope everything is OK.  I don't know how to sum things up in 100 words or less. You're great. I love you and I hope it goes well.
