Happy New Year

Skype was super great. It was cool we could do it with Teresa too.
I showed what Em had said about the Elder form Arizona to him. He laughed and says hi.
Oh Emalie you're so funny. Gma may think your dumb, but i think you're funny.
I am so surprised at how tall Collin is.

The area is alright. It went kind of weird because of the week.
The hardest thing is getting investigators to church, and to have members with us to teach. They are willing but it is the setting up the time that is hard.
Our top investigators are Hugo,  Alexis (he is super great),  Carlos Sandaval, and Juan (has baptism date). We're going to be contacting more this week.  And we're working with a less active Lorenzo Friz. There is a lot hope for him. We put the goal with him to read the book of Mormon before the end of the Year.

Some advice to future missionaries would be to gain a true and lasting testimony, that gives them reason to be converted, and that they leave to the mission because of their testimony and desire to please God.   I love Argentina. and I love the people. I really don't know how to describe the area.  The biggest lesson, I learned to be more patient, and ever hopeful, no matter the situation, the power of gratitude, and to depend more in my Heavenly Father.  You can tell the girls that my hairline in falling back. I think like that. haha.

Love, Elder Bransen Jensen

ps. The quote "guess what it's not my birthday" I cant tell who it is from. it might be mine. Your quote is´´ is just because I am green isn't". good luck

He is the Gift event in centro

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

Sounds like you will have fun with all the family there.  Sounds like big events are coming up for you.

Say hi to Wyatt for me.  Give me his Email. por favor.

Quick Resume of my week:
Mon - Pday. normal. nothing fun. but good visits after wards.
Tue - we found a new investigators, Josè.
Wed. - district sunami and went to visit investigator and we taught the teenagers, her nephew and niece. We shared the restoration. It was cool that they payed attention and understood and committed to pray about the messages- pray for them.
Thur -  I don't remember much. normal day. some visits.
Fri -. normal day with the ward activity. masa de dulces. yumm. that was good with a lot a less actives.
Sat - we took over centro with He is the Gift. Check the blog for the photos of the event.  We played the movie on a screen and we went around inviting everyone to come and see. It was a cool experience.  I felt like I was in mormon message, talking to people about the meaning of Christmas. The whole zone was there and the president and some people from the stake.  If you have not seen HE IS THE GIFT. watch it and share it with everyone. Sorry I forgot to invite you before.
Sun - church. and  we had choir.  We were in it. That was cool.

So the week went pretty well.  A little rough with the investigators with trying to visit them.  Please keep praying for Hugo.  He has a hard time with the idea of tithing.  Pray for Jaun y Norma to get married, and for Carlos and Patricia that they may be completely prepared for the Fullness of the Gospel.

Thanks for everything. Que les siga  bien.

God does work miracles

I'll give you a story of what happened to me yesterday. We did a tsunami with some members. We had a youth with us. (shorten story) We went to a house of a old lady we know. She had health problems. She was out of the normal and breathing heavily. I felt to the need or the urge to give her a blessing of health. My comp anointed and I gave the blessing. I felt to bless her with health, more life, and that the pain would be gone...etc.. I don't really remember what I said..  We finished and she stopped breathing hard. and she did not hurt. She said that she has faith. That is why she is better.  That experience helped grow my faith to see a blessing respond to so quickly.   God does work miracles. We have the honor to be His workers.

skype will be great.
love you.

Crazy week

My comp´s name is Elder Gallegos, from Colombia, la capital. He has a year and a half in the mission. He is a chill dude.

Sometimes we have intense lessons. This week was kinda crazy. We have a hard time explaining the authority or the apostasy. I don't know how it happened but we invited 2 of our investigators in a visit and it turned bad. I think they misunderstood. But we were calmly explaining. I had an opportunity to use their bathroom, and I prayed because I did not what to loose them, This man had opened his heart a lot to let us in the first time.  I know there is a reason and a miracle for why we were teaching them.  I left the bathroom with more of the Spirit and a smile.  I knew God would do the rest. I then said maybe we misunderstood each other badly.  I testified. that we believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the son, the Holy Ghost.... amen.. We also believe that God calls prophets and that the church of Jesus Christ is restored, and God speaks to a Prophet today.  Then things calmed down and it turned out well.  I am grateful for the Lords help in this.

Thanks for fasting for them, I feel more confident in it. The Jewish Family are just hard to find. This week we're going to try to put a baptism date and invite them. Pray that they may accept or at least that it will make them think, and that we may do it clearly and boldly in a loving way.  I'm quite sure it will go well.  I love them a lot.

It seems that Alexis is the closest to progress. He said he can imagine being Mormon.  He is a super honest man and would be a great leader, and his wife has started to listen to us now, and accepted a Book of Mormon. Carlos, the Jew and his wife did as well.

I love the mission. It has a hard mix in with everything. And the Lord is there to help you, and changes you on the way.

congrats on your wedding anniversary. whoo hoo!!

I like your story of the man in the cannery. That's really great.  I am going to keep that in mind.

Well it sound that your busy busy. But don't get too stressed where you can't feel the Spirit. Then you'll get more stress and then you just blowup and nothing will get done. I know it has happened to me here.

Have you watched   ``he is the gift`` if not you should.

Thanks for all your support and love and....everything.

The ups and downs

P-day Bowling

Bueno. Today is transfers. My mini missionary went to his house. My comp doesn't get here until 11 at night.  I don't remember his name, but he is form Colamia.  Today at the terminal I saw a lot a missionaries that I have known, and the family of Elder Slavens is here. He is a very good Elder that I know. It was weird. They spotted us and spoke to us in English. .

Thanks for your concerns. I have had the ups and downs. I love your poem and I do relate. It is funny and true.  I don't know if I told you that one day in San Martin it was raining, we were in a nice neighborhood and no one wanted to talk to us or answer to us, and we walked and sat at a bus stop. I then thought "Why i am I so happy? despite everything that was happening.

Sorry I'm not going to write a lot. I am tired, spacing out while.. but happy.

I hope everything is OK.  I don't know how to sum things up in 100 words or less. You're great. I love you and I hope it goes well.

Happy Dia de Gracias

Well Happy Thanksgiving. Wow, it passes so fast. The next Thanksgiving I will be you guys..

I had a great experience giving a talk. I felt divine help.  I feel it was the best talk that I gave in my mission. It happened to be about divine help. I noticed that sharing personal experiences grab the attention the easiest.  I'm starting to feel my self. again.  I feel more help form on high.

To update, we walk a lot and do knocking.  We have investigators. Alexis is a super great man and super honest and is a father.  He will be a great leader, and has a great family.  Pray for him. If he gets baptized it will be wonderful.  I love him so much.  Juan is a great man and he is huge. Pray for his understanding and desire to change.

Thanks for everything.

Con amor. Elder Bransen Jensen.

The power of gratitude

Sounds like so many good things our happening.
There the weather is cold and here is real hot.

Please pray for Hugo, he is one our best investigators. He needs help and Roberto Rivera and his wife are great investigators.  I have hope for them. They are super humble and have desires to be close to God. I am happy for them.
My comp it super great. His name is Elder Christian Painemilla. Has a sincere desire to learn. He is 19 and is actually Elder´s Quorum President in his ward. He seems to me a very excited person, but too excited. He will do great. He is showing great effort and teaches a lot more than I thought.  I'm grateful for him. He is a great example for me and reminds me a few things we should do.
This week I was thinking a writing you a letter of help. Mainly because it seem to me that I make more mistakes in teaching people. I remember praying yesterday asking for help. I was okay, but dis animated, even though major part of things were going well, and even though we had many good visits.  While praying the Spirit entered with a thought. `Why are you so ungrateful?´´  Then from that point I started thanking the Lord for everything that I was concerned about. I felt like it started coming form the heart.. I changed as person and missionary. God gave me a better look out on things.  Now I remember to always pray.  I believe that this week will be a good one.  The Power  gratitude will make the week go well.
There is much I could write you but my time is up.  Thanks for you support in the best decision of my life up to now. Thanks for you prayers. and everything.
Love you God loves you more.
Love Elder Bransen Jensen

I am with a mini missionary

I have some news. Friday the mission called my comp. and said pack up you're going to Junin and Elder Jensen will receive a mini misionary. So here I am with a mini missionary for the rest of the transfer.  He is from Senillosa.

I am having hard times and good times. But God gives me what I need. His Spirit does really make us well and happy, revives us and stregthens us. I love being here serving in the Mission.  I can asure you I am still the weirdo, random, same chilled you know.
I love your spiritual thoughts and I think Sky´s message was great. Actully the other day, I felt that I should go to a investagor. I thought we were going to share the plan of Salvation, but I felt we should just talk about how he is doing about bautismo and how he feels. Then we invited him to Church.  No one came. oh well.
The list of our investgators Cristian. Hugo. Luis, Alisia. Elena, Maria. Family (Carlos) Sandaval
and the list of less actives. Sis. Sandaval, and  Lorenzo Friz.

The Jewish Family is Argentin. The father´s mom side has Jewish desent. Creo?
Thank you so much for praying.

Weird weather

It was transfers and everything is the same. Does not usually happen.

The weather has been a little weird.  It was super hot last week than Monday it was super windy for a few days and then really cold. It sounds like Utah.

I am so glad that Emaile has decided to follow in my foot steps and be Napoleon Dynamite for Halloween. The photo of them is convincing.

That's great that Marcio will get sworn in.

We are excited to teach the Jewish family today, that we found a while back. I hope everything goes well. We study for them today. They are so great. The father is very interested in the Book of Mormon, and some of our beliefs. This will be the time we can talk well and clear.

The area is good. We have a lot hope for this little barrio.

Love you and God loves you More.

ps You guessed right, and your quote "I have to get his recipe before he dies" is from mom. I think. Yours is``you smell like the aquerium´´ (not sure how to spell that.)
pss OH and I must tell you I think Argentina has the most beautiful skies. It is really cool. I'll try to remember to take a picture.

Happy Mother's Day & Halloween

Happy Mother´s Day in Argentina.  It was the other Sunday.  I don't really miss Holloween that much but it is fun. I like Em´s choice to be Nopolean.

This week has gone well  I hope you have a good week. I like your thought on patience and wisdom.

It is kind of funny that I came to the mission to help find answers and find God. Being here has given me more desire to search for God and gan a stronger testimony of things so I can testify..and so on..
I don't know what more to say. I am out of time.

Love Elder Bransen Jensen.

Greengo robbers from Germany

Sounds like a fun weekend you had. It sounds like their baptisms were very spiritual. The play sounded good. I liked it when I watched it as much as I can remember.

Talking about the mission and Bronson serving there. Zapala is known for the wind there.

I know of one missionary whose parents are coming to pick him up.

We have great investigators and contacts. But the hard thing is finding them in their house or awake. Hugo has a hard time praying. but he´ll get there. And we had a less active come to church and she is doing so well now. I learned yesterday to be persistent and my comp was a good example of that now that we have some more potential investigators. It is amazing how the spirit works in one.
Maria gave us a gift. I'm grateful for the love from others.

Fun fact: more then just a few people think we are from Germany. para que sapa no mas.

Funny story. I think last week it was. There was drunk guy that tried to talk to us saying you greengo are always robbing. We said no we don't. We keep walking, Then he made a gargling scream.  I thought that was way funny.

Yesterday we saw a dad and his kids playing together, so we thought this is great opportunity to talk with a family. We went to greet them and they acted as if we crashed the party. They went dead silent and did not really look at us. We tried to share, but he said they were leaving. That was awkward , but funny now.

Thank for praying

Thanks for everything.  Here are people you can pray for. Hugo, (has date to be bautized the 15th of Nov.) and Guillermo, Carlos, Luis Reyes, and Helena (accepted to be bautized but does not know if she'll be here in the days she could be bautized), Maria,  her sister, and  there are others.  Thanks for praying. There has been many miracles. We are excited for the week.

Chile. I don't have much more to say.  Most of the time we were traveling in Argentina, and the town I don't know the name. It was lovely there.

This week I learned about having a pure motive in work helps, and to look to Jesus to help fix problems and not the problems. It a great topic and I could say much about it, but for a another day.

Have fun in Mesquite, watching Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Gabe´s and Owen¨s bautisim, good luck on the talk mom.

Thanks for you letters and support.

May we gain God's trust.

He loves us and that´s why we are here.

I´ll try to write a better letter next time.

This week was pretty awesome

This week was pretty awesome and conference.  We had many good reminders of the basics and simple things. I really like Elder Scott´s talk. It was needed and the talk about the 6 thing you can do to have more confedence.

The area is better. Tues, we had a great day finding and testifing. I really felt like missionary and it felt great. We should have more experiences like that. We found a Jewish family and we talked about the Book of Mormon and our beliefs and he is really excited to read the Book of Mormon! He`s Jewish but believes that the Messiah is Jesus the Son of God. That was a great experiencia. I felt so cultured afterwards. He speaks Hebrew and would use the Hebrew Bible terms, so we used the Gift of tongues again. By the way, Jesus in Spanish is bad word in Hebrew. So we tried using the work in Hebrew That was a little difficult but alright, and fun. Will see how is goes from now.

We have more miracles with our investgators currently.

It is a great work we're part of , don't forget your duties.

Les amo muchísimo Dios Les ama.

Love Elder Bransen Jensen.

PS - Your quote " think it is harder now that you can't kill people" I think is form Collin or Emaile.

The mission and the Atonement

Thanks for writing.

I don't know if I have much to write you. Nothing new happened. But we are having better success getting inside houses or getting return agreements. We only walk in the the mission.
I'm excited for General Conference.

I feel like I have progressed a lot and I know it is through the atonement. I am learning and feeling. It is not changing who we are but changing us into who we really are or as God sees us. God knowing that we could not do it. He sent his son to pay the price of sin and make the path to him. I am so grateful to Christ for who he is. What he did out of his nature for us. Now we can live up to our divine potential. Change, Be.and fulfill our predesigned purpose and be servants of God and Christ.

I love you God loves you

I want to have little kids be our investigators

First off Happy Birthday mom. I realized I forgot went we left the cyber last week. I'm sorry. Thanks for forgiving me. It is required.

I feel a lot better about the area and it will great. I am learning to be more diligent. I rely on the Lord, and give him my heart and thoughts always. I feel like he is changing me, but allows me to see my faltas lacks. I really do want to do what the Lord wants me to do. I did think about the challenge of karate, to help me. And to be strong and submissive to Lord in or out of suffering.  Happiness is the plan and goal and what we should focus.

Sounds like the near future will be fun for you.  Wow that will be cool for you to see the baptisms of Gabe and Owen, and to go see the Joseph Play.

By the way my old companion Elder Ortiz writes me. That's awesome. Sometimes I feel like I have cracked through companions. I've had 9 including now.

Story: I want to have little kids be our investigators. This is why. We talked to the granddaughter of a member who is 3 years old. She related what we said to her grandma.  Then her grandma told us what her granddaughter said.  She said "I was with those Elders, and they said that prayer was easy and that I could do it and God will protect me and my mom." She said some more stuff. She understood and learned better then some of our investigators or contacts jaja. (kind of).

I feel more purpose. I feel like this will be the week that I won't be the lost companion following my companion in the maze. I'm remembering the names of everyone. I will be a better tool in the hands of the Lord. I love the work.  I am so grateful to be a missionary.

Being willing to submit to the Lord is the best decision your can do.

I love you and God loves you more

Seeing the good in everyone

Howdy do.

To answer your questions. The spelling was wrong.  It's Villa Ceferino. It is part of Neuquen. It is a small ward. Good so far.

My comp does know your cousin Vicki. He a little of everything. I am not sure, but he is great. Very good missionary and person.

The area is kind of a maze. It is a lot hotter than San Martín. We went contacting and it is a little harder I´d say. But there are good people. I think I learn to see the good in everyone in this transfer.  I think God wants me to learn this. I think he put me with my companion. He is good at seeing the best in everyone.

We have had interesting conversations with many people.

I love the mission, I know it is good for me. It is great preparation for life. I am extremely grateful for the gospel and the mission.

Thanks for your though on the mission.

Love you all and God loves you more.

Transfer to Villa Sefraino

Well, first off, I got transferred to Villa Sefraino (not sure on the spelling) and my new comp is Elder Bennet form Utah, Salem.

It sounds likes the temple visit was great, as it should be. I love and miss the temple a lot. I grew in a lot of faith in the Lord.

Wow it sounds like the ward in moving. So many good families moving. We have a great ward. They are so great. But now you´ll have the great opportunity to reach out as missionaries to those move in.

I like your thought on the scriptures, and how much easier it is to teach the gospel. The blessing we have with all the access to all scripture known unto us.

My old area was great. I will make this one great for me as well. I Love it.

I know God loves me and I feel it. May we all feel and share it and enjoy it. I want to do what is best all the time.

I really don't know what more to write. But that I feel happy. I want you to know how I feel.

God loves you, I love you too.

The days shall be better

This week went well. Well, we knocked a lot of doors and got rejected and a returned appointment fell through. But that is the mission. It is not always that way. We did not get in with a nonmember. But we received many references and some future people to pass by.

We did service for Puentes de Luz. It is a place where the special needs visit. There is gardens and stuff. We cleaned out garbage out of the landscaped places. That was a good experience.

This week I focused in having confidence and I grew. wow. I read in the guide of the scriptures under confidence and it says something about putting all your faith in God and Jesus. and in a conference talk there is a story of boy. The boy said to his father I tried with all my force and the dad says no you haven't since you have not asked for my help. That had a profound affect in my thinking and feeling.

That's cool you could go to the marriage of Dad´s cousin.

Thanks for everything. Thanks for sharing your experiences and spiritual thoughts.

One Year this Week

P-day at La Isla

Somethings on Pablo. He is 14. Son of a member and that is how we know him. He came from Buenas Aries and sadly is moving back Tues. There might be a chance he stays Ojala. It's ok because we help he get a knowledge of the gospel.

Anyway I really do feel good inside and happy, loving towards people.  I think that is something that makes me us happy

We had a very great conference with President Lovell. The best one I've had. And I gave a talk there. We all prepare a talk beforehand and then he calls on someone to give it. That person was me. It was good. Thanks to the Spirit. About integrity that was the theme of the conference.

Thanks for Sharing your journal entry about your hump day. I was touched and I feel the same, maybe exactly the same.

Thanks for living the Gospel. There are a lot things I could share, but I'll save them for later.

God loves you.

Love Elder Bransen Jensen.

We are a trio

First of all Happy 16th, Emzer is a oldy.haha. She is great. Sounded like fun at Em´s party.  I hope you had fun. Now it sounds like she going be dating a ton, at least more than I did.  She is starting an age that I remember well. Que raro. we can talk about that latter.

Wow Grandma and Grandpa have a new car. Que capichosa.

We live in the Villa Vega area of San Martín.

We have a new companion. We are a trio. He is from Canada and is a brand new neuvoismo. So that is fun. He is a real good kid. The other day we had a member, so I divided with him and went to some investigators and miembros, while the others went contacting. Good for me. jaja. It does not bug me to contact that much. We have found good people doing it.

Right now our best investigator it Pablo. He came to church 2 times. and has a date for 30th to be bautized. So we are hoping a lot.

I am not sure what to share this week but thanks for sharing your learnings.

The work is going well

Congrats to Nate and his new wife.  Sounds like you had a busy week.

I'm glad you are in the corner of the mission field.  Remember example first and then work will come naturally.

The cold here is not as strong as it is in Utah. I like my comp.  He's funny he kind of like Nate.  I am little congested in the nose. I love the mission. I love feeling the spirit touch others. I love learning from my mistakes and the rest, even though it is hard.

The work is going well in some things. We found a golden investigator.

We are teaching Pablo Herriea. He is 16. He is a really good kid. He is the son of a recent convert. Keep him your prayers and we have others too.

My comp and I were talking about the difference between watching a friend or comps say goodbye than watching someone say hi or goodbye to their mother. It is the same when someone says a prayer or testimony, if the person is close to God or really belives in Him, compared to someone that might say nice things but does not really believe or love God.

Thanks for all you do and for always writing me.

Our area is awesome

Wow everyone is getting married with two in the near future. Congrats to Nate and Nat and their future spouses.

My new companion is Elder Randle. He is great. He is very happy and a good missionary. He has 1 and a half years in the mission. He is from Logan Ut.

Our area is awesome and so nice looking. We have more people to teach. Someone we did not know before accepted a day to be baptized, so that is awesome. The work is doing better and will be way better this week. We have a goal as a mission to baptize by the 30 of Aug, so were looking for many for this day.

I think it is key to always to improve the language, or the Lord humbles you sometimes. Sometime I am not sure if am good at the language, and other times and now much more often, I feel comfortable, and I've been helped a lot by comps and the Lord. Gift of tongues are real. I really love the language. I'm going to study it after the mission. It amazing what one can learn on the mission.

Thanks for sharing everything. It is the only entertainment I have. jaja.no I just like your letters.

I ll look for a good story to tell you next week, my next letter will be great I hope.

I love you God loves you

           Mission President Interviews

Wow what a week, Collin and dad did camping, and Em is going camping with the cousins. Thanks for the updates I like hearing about my bro and sisters.
I like the comparison you made of balance beam.
I am getting new comp to day. Elder Randle. I don't know him yet. My other comp is going home. 2 years is done for him. The weather is rainy, not that cold. yay. I do my best to take care.

I learn much from the mission. It is hard, but it is the best thing I have decided to do in my life. When everything has a purpose for where you are, it helps. I know that the companions I have had. and the area and everything was pick by divine revelation, even if we don't realize it. I have had the chance to know and become friends with many great missionaries, and members, and nonmembers. I'm learning to trust to the Lord more. I'm excited for this week. We had the chance to meet new people and teach them the gospel.  I'm grateful that I get to learn a new language.
I've learned to be more grateful.  The Lord sends the Spirit more, if you really put effort in thanking God than ask for things. It good to ask for things and it is really necessary to do. But thanking is a necessary thing too, and God will bless if your more grateful. Try it. Always give him thanks.
Not much different happened But there will be more.
thanks for everything.
I love you , Dios les ama.
Love your son Elder Bransen Jensen.

Happy Pioneer Day

Well I'm glad to hear that you are all right, and that your weekend went well. It is crazy to think that you already had Draper Days and Kemp Reunion. I was thinking it was still later.

I like your photo. It is important to remember are Pioneer ancestors. And their story. I don't know if you know but I could find my line up to Adam.

Thanks for your spiritual thought and how we can be obedient exactly without being perfect. I must say my sincere deep desires is to help.  I have grown a lot. I really care about the salvation of all especially those here. I need to be better in spite of weaknesses and fear, because faith, and peace overcome those cosa. I like what you said about that. I have learned and learning a lot about doing and of being. In this week I put more focus in the work and spiritual things, and having prayer in my heart and my head to help me keep focus, and to stay at peace. to guide my thoughts. It is hard but we are imperfect. Sorry if what I just wrote does not make sense. I want to write what I am learning but don't know how.

AND yay it is hard to see a family with great potential not be willing to do those things that would change them forever.

Yesterday I told one our investigators, right before we left, that he had big arms, and he does. And my comp was laughing for sometime after that. I surprise myself. They are the Hija and soninlaw of a member

Well, have fun. Be good. I love you and God Loves you.

Love Elder Bransen Gene Jensen.

I'm enjoying the mission in a true powerful way

It is true about what you said about the mission. The miracles and the experiences don't seem to be there, but are subtle. I find that to be more helpful in growth. I believe it seems like Youth Conference and AFY or what ever are like dry pine needles on a fire, woow fire and testimony spirit so fast, but those experiences like a mission or building a house in Mexico are like putting heavy wood or coal on a fire and if we endure it burns for a long time. We grow slower but a more solid conversion. I think. For this reason I love the mission. I am enjoying the mission but in true powerful way.

I feel really good. Sometimes I feel unprepared to be here. But I feel that the Lord has been helping me a lot, to be who I am. and to fulfil my purposes here. I Love the Lord and feel that I am converting solidly to Them through Them. I love how the Lord is so willing to help us, and me. No tengo palabras.

We have great to desires to find a family listo and waiting. We work with Family Del Pino muy bueno but hard evangelic. We want them to join the Church so bad. They would be such a good addition, and the father would be such a good leader and teacher, but does not want to pray to see if José Smith was Prophet or if the Libro de Mormón is true.

I don't have any funny story that is funny sorry. Next week I´ll try.

Love you love

Elder Bransen Jensen.

Happy 4th

 P-Day at a deli today

Sounds like your adjusting to the new stake, and there is people you need to know.

I'm glad to hear that Ryan has been a good kid that is great me alegra. Well it sounds like you are enjoying the cousins and going hiking.

We just went hiking and that was so awesome and we just got back. I'm feeling real good after doing that.  I love hiking. I actually did not do anything great on pday before so I'm grateful for that.

Hike today

I don't know if I told you that my companion and I were practicing karate.  I think we will do it again this week. Karate is awesome.

Happy 4th, I'm glad for that day so the people from all over the world can have a chance to hear the gospel and accept it. Role of the founding fathers.

The area has hit a low but, I feel that the Lord was happy for our efforts. I really feel we are getting to better. We got some new ones. and we had powerful lesson with the Spirit, it was great.  We're going to use a list a members and asked them and visit them to have references.

My comp is doing well. We get along very well. He is definitely one a the best I have had. He helps me, and we work together well, and we're improving.

Personally I'm great. Someone complemented me on the language. Which is weird because I don't notice the difference.  I guess that we don't notice things about ourselves. I still want to improve because I think I am improving but maybe I had moment of not speaking like greengo.humm. I feel more purpose here and have more faith that I am in the hands of the Lord. I love the plan of God in the mission for everyone. and the plan of salvation.

Love you Love

The World Cup is big here

P-day Last Week

The World Cup is big here. I have seen some of the games. There are on basically whenever we have lunch. My comp is form Chile and he made sure that we saw Chile  play, but not the best to do, I don't know what to say about that.  They told us not to contact during the time Argentina plays. It seems that The US is doing well wow.

Now we found some awesome people, and we are going with faith to find even more. I am excited. Pray that we can find more because it is the time and I really feel it and have the faith!! Woohoo!. I love my area, the missionaries here, and my leaders and the city is great. There are so many people that stop to let cross the street, and it is beautiful.

My comp is good and helps me in good ways and we get along just well. He likes to learn English and wants to past a test at the end of mission. SO he wants to practice a lot. He is awesome.

I love being a missionary.

I love you. and The LORD loves you

Love Bransen Jensen The Elder.

PS your quote is "Hey you got buggy in your house". I'll try to think a not so obvious quote next time.

Starting to Look Like Winter

Snow in San Martin

That is crazy that we are splitting stakes, and changing up the ward. That is cool that Esher will be part of our ward, but I probably won't enjoy it because I am here and when I return he will be gone on his mission.

Well I'm glad Collin likes MTbiking.

I like that story about the donkey and the man and boy. It is important to have plan. Learning to plan is part of the mission. It is something still hard for me, or at least to plan well. But plans can be simple. A lot of inspired plans are pretty simple. I hope that I am making plans and goals and complete them well here. I hope to be a much more useful tool in hands of the Lord after the mission, also.

We found 2 families we are visiting. I hope they get baptized.

We had a talent show in the church that was OK. There were some real funny things.

Thank you for your letters and love. I love you guys so much.

love you son bro cousin friend.

Happy Father's Day

You are awesome para que sapan.

Thanks for your great letter that helped me. I am glad I could be of good help too in letters. I know anything good comes from God.

I have some good news. I don't know if you know. I was looking on Familysearch, and wanted to see how far I could go through the line of Kenneth Jensen. I found a line of kings and.... I got all the Way to Adam!! That excited me a ton

Sounds like father's day went well, happy día de padre.

It sounds like Nate and his future wife are doing well. that's good. It is good to see he is still Nate. Tell him I like to hear form him or get some mission advice.

I hope Larry is OK and thing go well with his brain.

Your new stake pres. and things from those talks are great.

I have a new companion, Elder Ortiz de Chile. He is awesome. I am ´´killing him´´ or to say this is his last transfer and I am his last companion.

I encourage you to read all recent GC talks last time and this time.

Life is Good

It sounds like the talks of Preston and Ashleigh were really good. It is cool the things we learn on missions. I learn a lot here. Some or most of it you can't put into words.

In reality we just let God help us. There are so many or everything we can't do on our own. God is helping a lot. One to change and to feel it. I am learning to work on my weaknesses. I wrote them on a paper and am fasting for each one at a time a lot. I will have fasted for all. This has help a lot. I fasted for better memory and it helped (I have much room for improving.) but I could remember a cita (appointment) that we needed to plan that my companion forgot. And fasted to know our area and now I feel comfortable and know the area. We can always increase our levels or skills or wellness in something. And again its todo thanks to the hand of God in our lives. I love this work. I really want to be the best missionary I can be. I am not close to perfect and I still struggle with the language and I must improve it in and after the mission, I know the Lord we help me, and we have to be positive in all things and learn to enjoy them, and love others. If you have suggestions for me to improve, tell me pro favor. I invite you to read Preach My Gospel, and see how you can apply it, even school work or whatever. There are somethings that are directly applicable to us. Remember the talk of Elder Ballard.

This week was good. Our two best investigators might be moving. But I know they will get baptized, they are great, and I love them.

I like my comp. we get very well along, and we can talk about whatever. I like it.

The picture was not of Elder Bailey, but Elder Barrios
Well don't have much more to say.

I love you and hope the best for your lives. Remember that God sees your potential.

Love your son, bro, cousin, o lo que sea.

Capilla Abierta

To answer questions, we go to town basically everyday.  The church is there so if someone needs to meet us there or whatever.  We have part of an area in mountainish areas that we will want to contact someday.

I almost forgot it was my birthday this week it kind of freak me out cause it seemed far away when I started the mission.

Well some things that happened this week. 1. An owl hit our window like in Harry Potter. 2. In Neuquen they found part of a Hung Dino. Part of its leg is bigger than a T-Rex.! 3. Capilla abierta (Open Chapel) was a success.!!

I read a talk in the Ensign from the Oct conference. It was about humility. It was great. I learned a lot form it. it is the 3rd talk I believe.

We are teaching a couple, I am sure they will get baptized. Florencia and Agustin.

Well I don't have much more to say. There are many things I could say. I'm growing and learning. IT was just a great week that is all.

I love you guys  you are awesome really.

love Elder Bransen Jensen.

Conference in Zapala

To answer your question, I live in one of the neighborhoods east of the town. And we still want to go to the mountains to do contacts.

We are going to have the open chapel this Sunday.

I know the zombie feeling. This weekend we went to Zapala, a city for stake conference and mission conference. That went really well. We left on Sat. came back at Mon. it was kind of a vacation. Our journey back was crazy. We were at the terminal at 1 am and traveled for 4 hours then waited at the terminal here then went to the church to wait 2 hours. Then we got back to the house at 7.30 am. and then slept in late.

In Zapala we had lunch with a member and they spoke English only. It was really fun. They lived in US for 6 years. They speak perfect. Your quote is from the dad. He was really funny.

Hope all goes well in your endeavors and thanks for writing me every week I enjoy your letters.and your experiences and thing that you have learned.

Remember that every sincere prayer will be answered.

Another week in San Martin

Well, I don't really know what to say for the week, besides that it's great here and so is my comp. We had some good lessons. We are teaching someone name Forancia and Belén. They are both very good. Accepted a date for baptism if they feel and come to know it´s true.

Well hope things go well at work with dad and his projects.  I received the letters form G-pa and G-ma. and the cousins.  I am glad to hear that Grandpa is OK. It is true could be worst, but I still hope all goes well.

There is no end to charity, but there is to knowledge.

Remember to remember

I loved talking with you guys and all the family and to hear your voices and see faces. Qué tal. And to see Nate and kids of Teresa, people I have not seen in mucho tiempo.

I like the or phrase ´´So we need to try to remember to remember´´ That´s what I have been telling myself this morning and mas frequently. I think that is a key principle in changing. have desire. or desire to desire, is something I leaned.

Yes, a sense of humor is important; keeps us from dying I think; gives us a healthy point of view in life. And from going crazy.  Oh I remembered the creepy Russian Guy, I almost completely forgot.
Qué tal that you and Collin got to the temple to do baptisms.

I love you so very much. God love you more.

Getting transferred to San Martin

I'm getting transferred to San Martin today, in a few hours. It's a place in the mountains so I am sure I will like the climate. Heard it is snowing there and my new comp will be Elder Baelly.  I had the impression that I will have the opportunity to baptise there.

This past week we had a conferencia con Elder Viñas. It was very awesome. I´d like to talk about what I learned but I don´t have much time. But I must say it help me and I learned a lot.

I realized the need of the Lords help. Ayer we missionaries did a Mini CCM MTC. We all had a talk to give. I prayed for help with speaking and giving my message about the importance of the Obra misional. I felt the Spirit testify to them of my words or His words, and spoke clearly and took the right amount of time that was needed (9mins). I thought it was only 5 mins.  I am so grateful to you and for the Lord and his divined help in everything if you ask con faith. I hope you can apply that to your lives.

Thanks for you advice as well.

8 months today

I had a good week with some good experiences. They have to do with some visits we had.  I will miss many people here. It´s the last week of the transfer, I think I may be going. I got close to the ward here.  Also the president of the Temple came a spoke ayer in sacrament. That was way capodo.

The weather is up and down here. but it is generally going the cold direction.

One of our investigators accepted a date to be baptized on the 11 or 10. (2 weeks basically) and she came to church on her own. wowwho. Her name is Susana Victroiano and her son Johnithian V. wants to resolve some dudas (doubts) before he accepts a date. Oh she´s been reading the Libro de Mormón tanbien.

Que tal. Waylon is back from his mission and sounds like is as spiritual as ever. Wow I´m happy for him and his family.  I like the analogy of his and Bro Mair about no turning back and doing things and overcoming fear. I would walk across the Grand Canyon if the board was strong and secured. That analogy will help me a lot. Thank them.

I´m glad that I´m still the favorite cousin of Nate Ferguson. Tell him I said hi.  He's a cute kid. which reminds me I have good cousins as well.

It surprised me today I noted that it is the 28th hoy. I thought for a sec that I turn 7 months today then I realized I turn 8 wow.

Thanks for your Letter and Love
Love you
Love Elder Bransen Gene Jensen.

Feliz Pascua

This past week was very hard.   Hard with the area and a member (don't assume anything bad its not).  I learned that you need to be open to others and always try to take out your best self when you can, and the way you think your companion is feeling isn´t always right. I learned that he is actully out for my best (hope that makes sense).  My English is not looking so good jaja. I learned you need to not worry too much, seek the spirit and to be yourself.  There are many things that I learned this week. One is to be yourself. Yesterday I took time during my study just to say a prayer and meditate. That was a great experience. The key is to have the spirit guide you.

For Easter, it is traditionally recognized as the week. Which I like, but now a days it is, for some, not recognized as it should be.

Wow that is cool you could go to the condo with Conrad and the Palmers, and that Conrad does not eat as much as I. jaja. I am glad you could go hike Angles Landing.

Well some sad news Karina told us straight up that she does not want to listen to us or go to church and she wants to do things on her own. She hopes she did not offend us. but it's sad.  We can't do anything about her agency.

Some good new Jonhithian and Susana accepted the invitation to be baptized. They are really good people.  She told us that she felt that this is the path she need to take. They are son and mother. I think it is also results form our zone fast.

You are great Love you God loves you

I'm back from a crazy week

Thank you so much for your love, and care for me.  I am starting to understand loving others. I really do love my investigators.  I don't if I told you but Juan Carlos was drunk really bad one day, because his dog that meant a lot to him was slowly dying. I remember praying to see if we could do something for the dog. I remember praying to save it or something. But overall I felt bad for my friend. The next day we talked in the Church hoping he a his friend would not be drunk, but he was. Afterwards I really hurt inside, almost cried inside to not see him in his true character.  I remember having hope inside and prayed that he would recover. I knew he would so I didn't hurt too bad, and he did recover.

First to Answer your questions: Yes I did get to listen to all conferences.   Priesthood session yesterday. Si things are pretty normal again but some of the streets are bad in some areas. Now we are back to a normal schedule. The last week we had work around this block for three days total.
This was the schedule last week basically like this. Mon, Tues, Inside the pension .Tues we had permiso to leave and stay in the church at end of the day. I think that save some missionaries from death by boredom.jaja. Wed, shopping district meeting, then service, thurs, write you guys, lunch service. Friday interviews with President, and one lesson woohoo, Sat, service all day, and one visit. Woohoo.  And we did not work like those zombies. jaja.

Oh, by the way we have clases de ingles. That is going well for right now and pretty fun.

Thanks for the update on Josh and Neerapa.

Thanks for your update of the Family. Have fun with the cousins jaja. One of Zone leaders looks like Devin. jaja

Congratulations to Emalie, that awesome you have you blessing. Feilzitaciones.

Thanks for your stories and inspiration.

Todo bien - I'm good

Sorry if you were worried because I did not write. There was a big storm and we could not leave for two days.  To be honest we were board to death.  I enjoyed a little rest, and we had to stay inside on Tuesday too.  Wed we were busy

My Companion is Elder Ruiz, de Peru. He has been in the mission 2 weeks more than I.

Conference was way awesome. I had the opportunity to listen to it in English live. There is a lot I could talk about conference. I like the quotes you gave me. I think Pres Uchtdorf´s talk about being a grateful soul, not just grateful for things.  I think that´s key in life. I´d like the tree allegory form Elder Anderson.

That is cool that Dad, Collin, and Ryan could go the priesthood conference.

Yesterday we did service. Because the rain brought mud and some parts of the roads had 4 ft extra sand and others were missing 4 ft sand.  The service was to take out dirt with shovels, a lot a shoveling.  It made me feel good and like I was at grandpa Gene´s. jaja.
Sometimes the work goes down. and it´s hard but the Lord will help us rise it again. Things are better with Karia. And I want to focus in planting seed more as well.

There more I could talk about but I´ll share it later.

Love Elder Bransen Jensen.

ps- i remember Mr. Moody and Jolley. Sorry I don´t have a quote for you. But i still love you.

God is a God of Happiness

That's crazy that Nate my childhood cousin it actually getting married.  Congrats to Nate, How strange. I love that man. Tell him to write me.

This week went a little rough at first, but better towards the end. I´m getting to know my compañero mejor. We get along just fine. It was hard for me at first but we talked for a good hour on Sunday, to let each other know what our feelings are and things we can work on. I feel a little bit changed every day. I'm just grateful to be here and being part of the Lord´s work. I know he is helping me. My compañero is form Peru Lima Callao.

Carina told the other elders in our district that she is willing and ready to have the lessons. It´s cool we work as a team.

Thank you very much for your letter and youth conference experiences as they are very applicable to missionaries. I´m touched a little just reading them, I am truly excited for the future of the Church. I am grateful for your letter, because I forgot the power of Youth, and the love and goodness of the ward. I feel like the ward is super close. Tell all the Youth that I said ¨hi´´ and send my best of feelings for them and tell them the keep it up, they are great.

Well I know with out a doubt this is the work of the Lord. He is very involved with our salvation. Don´t forget it and be happy therefore obey with your will in agreement. God is a God a happiness.
Oh and the language is getting better and think the Lord and my comp will help me a lot too. Get to play the piano a little too and the Lord is helping me improve in this too.

I love you and the Lord loves you more.

Love Your son, bro,..... Elder Bransen Jensen.

I'm staying in Neuquen and I'm happy for that

One thing I´ve learned is to pray often, more often, and have a prayer sempre in your heart. In order to withstand and be happy, good, and with the spirit, I invite you to do the same.  You just always feel better, even when things don't work out.
Sorry if this saddens you guys, but Cadolina ( the lady at the bus stop) approached us in the street and told us that she won´t be able to listen to the ´charlas¨ (lessons)  because of family problems.  We told her that is why God sent us, for helping the family. But I think we will be good friends with her. I have a bright hope for her that she will take the charlas de the missionaries in the future if not soon. I think she´ll realize.
The other missionaros in our district had a bautismo. It was very nice and beautiful. Four of our investigators came. I played the Piano. Over all the spirit was so strong. And we ate lunch with them on Sunday. They are awesome.
And the son,who got baptized a mouth ago, has gone on visits with us. And he was a little surprised when two of investigators who don't want anything. (story for another time)

We will be starting English Classes. I excited to do that.
Transfers are today and sometime today I will be getting a new companion.
I like my companion that I have now. We had our ups and downs but really we get along just great.
To clarify I´m staying, and I´m happy for that and my companion it not.  He told me he does not want to go. I´m glad to stay, because I love the ward and our districto they are all copos.
Love you God loves you

Miracles happen and the people are ready

Well, sounds like Ashley´s party was fun. But took a lot of time.

Well some update on the work here. We had another miracle wherein Dio (God) was very involved. We were walking to go visit someone and this lady on the street asked us if the buses were down.  We did not know so we went across the street to ask at the fire station to see if they knew. They told us they were down and we then told the lady. She was actually reaching out to us. En fin, we got her number and address. The day we went to search for her, it took us a while to find her house. But we found her the same moment she came home. We taught her outside and she told us about her life which was hard. We taught.  She was very receptive to the message of the Gospel. She wants to be baptized and almost accepted a date to be baptized.
Saturday, we did intercambios de compañros (companion exchanges). It seems like miracles happen when we do them. I worked in the area del los otras misionaros (other missionaries).  We then went to my area to teach Elias an investigator. We were sure he was coming to church but he didn´t. We will most likely going to drop him as an investigator, because he does not go to church, and we have taught him basically all the lessons, and we have had him for months and  is not progressing (in some ways he is worse.  He´s angry with God), it is a little sad but I hope in the future he´ll be ready for the missionaries again. And he is better than when I and my other companion found him.
Sunday, Juan Carlos and Caldalia(the neuva de este semana) came to church. Wohoo!! I don´t know what more to say.
Miracles happen and people are ready. I love this work.
My companion is a good one. We get along. His English is mucho major. He prays one prayer in English each día. The end of this week is transfers and it went by fast. mas o menos. I´ll let you know if get transferred or what.
Bueno Gracias por todo. I love you God loves you.
Love Elder Bransen Jensen.
