God is a God of Happiness

That's crazy that Nate my childhood cousin it actually getting married.  Congrats to Nate, How strange. I love that man. Tell him to write me.

This week went a little rough at first, but better towards the end. I´m getting to know my compañero mejor. We get along just fine. It was hard for me at first but we talked for a good hour on Sunday, to let each other know what our feelings are and things we can work on. I feel a little bit changed every day. I'm just grateful to be here and being part of the Lord´s work. I know he is helping me. My compañero is form Peru Lima Callao.

Carina told the other elders in our district that she is willing and ready to have the lessons. It´s cool we work as a team.

Thank you very much for your letter and youth conference experiences as they are very applicable to missionaries. I´m touched a little just reading them, I am truly excited for the future of the Church. I am grateful for your letter, because I forgot the power of Youth, and the love and goodness of the ward. I feel like the ward is super close. Tell all the Youth that I said ¨hi´´ and send my best of feelings for them and tell them the keep it up, they are great.

Well I know with out a doubt this is the work of the Lord. He is very involved with our salvation. Don´t forget it and be happy therefore obey with your will in agreement. God is a God a happiness.
Oh and the language is getting better and think the Lord and my comp will help me a lot too. Get to play the piano a little too and the Lord is helping me improve in this too.

I love you and the Lord loves you more.

Love Your son, bro,..... Elder Bransen Jensen.

I'm staying in Neuquen and I'm happy for that

One thing I´ve learned is to pray often, more often, and have a prayer sempre in your heart. In order to withstand and be happy, good, and with the spirit, I invite you to do the same.  You just always feel better, even when things don't work out.
Sorry if this saddens you guys, but Cadolina ( the lady at the bus stop) approached us in the street and told us that she won´t be able to listen to the ´charlas¨ (lessons)  because of family problems.  We told her that is why God sent us, for helping the family. But I think we will be good friends with her. I have a bright hope for her that she will take the charlas de the missionaries in the future if not soon. I think she´ll realize.
The other missionaros in our district had a bautismo. It was very nice and beautiful. Four of our investigators came. I played the Piano. Over all the spirit was so strong. And we ate lunch with them on Sunday. They are awesome.
And the son,who got baptized a mouth ago, has gone on visits with us. And he was a little surprised when two of investigators who don't want anything. (story for another time)

We will be starting English Classes. I excited to do that.
Transfers are today and sometime today I will be getting a new companion.
I like my companion that I have now. We had our ups and downs but really we get along just great.
To clarify I´m staying, and I´m happy for that and my companion it not.  He told me he does not want to go. I´m glad to stay, because I love the ward and our districto they are all copos.
Love you God loves you
Love Elder Bransen Gene Jensen

ps your quote "I hope my kids are cute, I don't care if my husband is" I think is from mom. The quote of the week: "He brought a wadder."

Miracles happen and the people are ready

Well, sounds like Ashley´s party was fun. But took a lot of time.

Well some update on the work here. We had another miracle wherein Dio (God) was very involved. We were walking to go visit someone and this lady on the street asked us if the buses were down.  We did not know so we went across the street to ask at the fire station to see if they knew. They told us they were down and we then told the lady. She was actually reaching out to us. En fin, we got her number and address. The day we went to search for her, it took us a while to find her house. But we found her the same moment she came home. We taught her outside and she told us about her life which was hard. We taught.  She was very receptive to the message of the Gospel. She wants to be baptized and almost accepted a date to be baptized.
Saturday, we did intercambios de compañros (companion exchanges). It seems like miracles happen when we do them. I worked in the area del los otras misionaros (other missionaries).  We then went to my area to teach Elias an investigator. We were sure he was coming to church but he didn´t. We will most likely going to drop him as an investigator, because he does not go to church, and we have taught him basically all the lessons, and we have had him for months and  is not progressing (in some ways he is worse.  He´s angry with God), it is a little sad but I hope in the future he´ll be ready for the missionaries again. And he is better than when I and my other companion found him.
Sunday, Juan Carlos and Caldalia(the neuva de este semana) came to church. Wohoo!! I don´t know what more to say.
Miracles happen and people are ready. I love this work.
My companion is a good one. We get along. His English is mucho major. He prays one prayer in English each día. The end of this week is transfers and it went by fast. mas o menos. I´ll let you know if get transferred or what.
Bueno Gracias por todo. I love you God loves you.
Love Elder Bransen Jensen.
Ps. my guess your quote "Emalie is pretty, but not enough to marry" is from Ashley the stinker pants. Your quote is: "It's because I´m green isn´t it.´´
Pss  Your Spanish word Is ´´escribir´´ diga me palablas españoles que quieren apender, that I might not know.

Finding investigators from investigators

It´s funny that your guys are saying it is warming up, and it is starting to cool down here.
I hope mom can handle her to do list well with school and everything.

Gracias por los fotos.

We have new investigators. I really want to tell all the miracles that lead up to us finding them. But it is a little hard to type it all. But to say the least, we felt the spirit and followed it, which helped us find someone else.  On the way to find those people, our new investigator called us over. We set a time to go visit them, and there we met his friend who listened to us in that visit. They both accepted a date to be baptized. and one of them understood the authority necessary to be properly baptized, even though it was from a quick quick summary of why it was lost. They both went to church, even when they had work opportunities that pay for example ( 300 peso for Sunday, and 100 for the weekdays Monday-Friday) what faith!! Their names Juan Carlos, and Luis. Juan understands a lot, form when we taught them and when he went church. Luis is a good man, has a problem with drinking, but really wants to change. Wow feel like there is a responsibility on me/us. I wish I could explain more about them. (I guess you´ll have to wait till I return and then I can tell you those stories of the Mission in greater detail, we´ll worry about that later.) Ayer, we went to visit them to talk about the job compensation program the church has, and set a lesson for today.  Juan told my companion, that he was not drinking, even with his friends there, because he knew we were coming.

For Sunday we had stake conference, and there was a seventy there. There was sessions on Saturday that we went to. Our Mission President was there as well.

Well, es asi, I love you all a lot. God and Jesus love you more.

Love Elder Jensen.

Ps. your quote "Grandma, you want to see me smoke?" is form me when I was little making dust (smoke), and your quote is:´´daddy can I have a cookie sandwich.´´

The Lord is in control

Some things about our investigators. Right now we really only have one. se llama Elias. He quiting smoking, and his girlfriend left him awhile back. No tiene un trabajo (job). He takes care of one of his kids. There's a lot about him. It´s rough, but he´s improving overall.

We have many others now, and many potenciales. This ward is awesome. There are quite a few who really want to help, and go to lessons with us.
Something I realized, and a story. We were walking and someone told us to come in. He was drunk, and crazy and loud. He wanted us to preach the good word to him. We started and he interrupted us...to make the story short.  I realized that he and some people like him, want to hear beautiful words, or poetry, or something, and not the actual truth. But the good that came from that was his friend that was there and has a real interest to listen to us. He actually helped us in the lesson. I hope he'll be a future investigator.

I read the letter from Collin and Ashley. Wow it seems like Collin grew up fast. Power and honor of the priesthood is an amazing thing.
Last week I forgot to tell you that we had a broadcast in the church and Elder Ballard spoke. It was so awesome.
This is all. The Lord is in control, and Loves us all.
I love you as well, not as much as Them.
Love your hijo amigo, hermano, o lo que sea.
Elder Bransen Gene Jensen
PS. your quote "Emalie you can't have surgery on that day, since it's cleaning day" is from Collin. Your quote is:´´Thank you gentlemen, someday I will repay you unless I cant find you or if I forget.´´
