Volcano Days

The Elder Jensens (from mission blog)

So about the volcano.  We have been pretty untouched except the huge lava glop that that ate me - jk.  We had some thick smoke the first day. We stayed in for two half days. Today there has been a little.

I liked your thought of sharing with the Spirit and not the necessarily the word.

I'll be home the weds after the 11th of August.   I don't have that info yet.

The camping trip will be fun.

This week, not much happened.  We have some references to visits.  I hope that goes well. Pray that it will be a solid investigator.

Love you so much.  I love your spiritual experiences.  I keep some very good spiritual thoughts in my spiritual journal. I'll think of something real cool, if I can.

Thanks for being my family

PS. the quote last time was form Nemo but it could be from Julie?  Your quote could be what ever. ``this is getting a little wandom now.´´

I improvised

That's crazy how it snowed so much then melted.

We had Zone conference yesterday with president.  It was very good, probably the best one.
After lunch, while president was talking, the zone leaders ask if I could do a musical number after he got done.  I said it might be better for someone else, but I was willing. So I improvised, having faith that the Lord would help. Good thing I had a improvised hymn made up, even though I did not practice it in a long time. So if it went well I´d give credit to the Lord.

One thought from the conference, was how we should write down, talk about, and pray for the things we want to happen, or want to have.

Thanks for you thought on and the  Atonement. It is very true.  I 've learned and experience the power of the atonement. It is something close to my heart..

My release date is the 11th of Aug. 2015.  I wanted to extend but I feel like I should not.

Well have a great week, I will share many things with you guys later.

love Elder Bransen Jensen.

PS. your quote "I wish I could go the the temple everyday, then I would get straight "A"s" is from Em.  Mine is ``nice``

Pss how you seen those photos on her blog

Faith works

Sunset

I hope you receive rain.  We received rain yesterday, a lot, and we missed our bus so we were getting wet.  We decided to use bit a faith to see if someone would take us to El Hoyo because the next bus would be in a hour or a lot more. We called our member from the Hoyo to see if she would come, but was not able. In 20 minutes someone stopped and it was a member. It worked out, faith worked, and the Lord did it.

Super Congratulations to Wyatt on his mission call, one of my best friends. So sweet. I miss Nate too. Say hi back. I miss the fun stuff.  Thanks for the up date.

Our trip to Epuyen was by bus, 45 o more bus ride, it is more spread out, and less people.

We downloaded the priesthood session.  I really loved Pres Ering´s talk as it sums up my mission, or the theme of it. It was really good reading the words.  My comp and I have really noticed this lately like what we said was good, but what we could have said... There is more in the future to say about this.  I feel like it really applies to me.

I may have forgotten to tell you, that Elder Gallagos sent me a letter, telling me that one of the investigators that we started with, in Villa Ceferino, Pablo, was baptized in Feb, and that he wants to serve a mission. For this cause I am very happy when i think of it.

Well that's all I have to say, I am really grateful for Email. Fast free communication.

love you much, God loves you more.

Love Elder Bransen Jensen

ps your quote is from a movie. Sorry I am running out of quotes,  sorry this might be a repeat,  ``I will repay you unless I can't find you or if I forget.´´

Happy Easter and Conference

P-day at Cascada Escondida (hidden waterfall)

Well sounds like your trip was great and conference. I really liked Elder Christofferson´s talk and those who followed him.  I like Oak´s and Holland´s examples.   Bednar´s and others were pretty deep, so I'll need study more in depth. It was kind of different with not many talks from President Monson.

To answer your questions about El Hoyo. Basically our boundaries are what we can see... and more.  There was bikes before i got here but they broke.

Longer story made short. We called our member in the area to see if we could meet with her and her husband.  We went and it happened to be the same day she invited her friends. That was the 2nd party of hers that we have been to, so they know us pretty well.  The argument of religion came up, especially with one of them.  But we shared the new Easter message, and that calmed things down. Then I testified of prayer.   During conference it came to me, through the messages, of what things I could say, or questions to ask. I love the feeling of the preparation of the Gospel.

Sorry to hear about your cousin Larry.

My comp is the same. We just had transfers.

Visit to Epuyen

Epuyen

Wow your trip sounds excellent, sports, games, hiking, and exploring that my kind of fun. And throw karate in there as well.  I hope Collin gets a fish and not fished haha.

Well I am super excited for Conference.  wooohoo

Quick update. We went to a town for first time, maybe the first missionaries,  called Epuyen. It was nice.  It is smaller than El Hoyo. Not too much success but they nicely received us so that is good.  I will definitely serve more, even though there is not a lot of people out and about.

We have an new investigator that lives close by. The bishop referred us to her.  It went super well. I am glad the bishop reach out to her,  He is a mailman so that's how he knew her.
I let you know more.

Thanks for everything.  Have fun.  Love You.

Smiling is great

Area we are just walking around to find houses

Thanks for the letter.  Smiling is great, and effective.  T
hanks for everything and for your support. Talking about planting seeds. We were visiting a sister in El Bolson.  She is very wise and smart.  She thinks about things that normal people would not think of.  I was grateful that we could visit her.  She said "you guys carry the spirit even though you don't know. When you are walking down the streets, is like when someone waters down the dirt road, so its cool, fresh, and keeps the dust down. You'll walk, and it will stir people, and they will think, and wonder, and some others will see a harvest." That gave me desires to try even more and be effective as I can to move the work along.  In reality the only thing I really care about is getting to the celestial kingdom with my family, and other love ones, and few souls that I may had helped.

Thanks for the love and support. You are truly great.  God loves you
Have a great week.

Live life to the fullest

P-day at Corbata Blanca

Happy birthday Ashley.  You're growing up, but you will always be my little sister. whahahahahha.

So I really like the insights on life callings.  I feel like that has kind of been my theme this week. I've been studying and focusing on having faith. I like this talk by Gene Cook BYU speech. It is really good, you should you look it up.  It is very applicable to me. I like it.  Live life to the fullest.

El Hoyo is alright.  I sincerely feel that there are people waiting to receive the Gospel. I have faith that we with God can make people recognize that. I believe it has potential and it is really pretty, even more than San Martin. I took some pics.

thanks for everything, I love being a missionary. I love this work. it going to be something great.  I mean it.

love you

ps your quote "I don't want to go to Africa.  I don't want to eat cat heads" is from, Em.   your quote is `` I got a john Deere letter``
